SERIES ”LIQUID LIGHT"
The famous formula panta rhei, everything flows, everything is in flux, comes from the Greek natural philosopher Heraclitus (520-460 BC). According to Heraclitus, all processes are in a flowing, constant process of becoming and changing, which combines the superficial opposites into a superordinate unity.
This philosophical approach is reflected in my ”LIQUID LIGHT” (2015 – 2017) series of works. Inspired by the association of the gleaming stream of a river, the guiding principle panta rhei finds its visual expression in these digital-abstract Neo Paintings. In the artistic development of my works in this series, I am concerned with the interplay of light reflections on water surfaces, be it on a lake, a river or even just a drop, in a flowing interrelationship. This results in soft, harmonious colour transitions or sparkling light accents that, on closer look, seem to be in motion and in a glistening state of flux.
Each of my fine art gallery prints comes with subsequent framing on Alu-Dibond and a final acrylic high gloss sealing. It is strictly limited to one large format original, digitally signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
